The website deltakappadelta.com aims to serve the community with enthusiasm, and emphasizes excellence in education, citizenship, culture, and sisterhood. The community was formed after the National Founding Mothers realized the need to unite, serve, and educate the campus and community.
The concept of Delta Kappa Delta came into existence on October 1, 1999, at the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. At the time of its inception, Texas A&M University had greater than 40,000 students. Prior to obtaining the Greek letters of Delta Kappa Delta, it was B.E.T.I.S. (Behind Every True Indian Sister) that was formed as the grass roots service organization. Since the inception of this online association, it has grown tremendously and has stretched its desire to serve to several cities in Texas and on the East Coast. The member sisters demonstrate the concept of “Sisterhood Built through Service” while dedicating their hearts and souls to Service and Sisterhood.
We, at LeXolution IT Services, are redesigning the site Delta Kappa Delta to provide it a complete new look and enhanced usability. We are developing tools for the web masters that will allow them to manage content and pages of the site on their own. We are using Joomla to deploy the CMS solutions. We are redefining the logo to give the site an overall new identity, and adding more features into it like Media Gallery and News Room, etc, to enhance its usability so that a high number of women can become sisters by joining the community.
