The Taxware Enterprise System, ADP’s Sales, Use and Value-Added Tax (VAT) System, is available as a hosted or on-premise solution and is ideally suited for multi-national companies with particularly demanding transaction tax requirements. It is also a highly advanced domestic sales and use tax solution designed for companies doing business in the United States and Canada.

ADP’s innovative Data Editor design includes a greater standard selection of domestic and international transaction types, which drastically reduces many clients’ needs to develop custom code to support their processing systems. At the same time, if a client is facing complex business challenges, such as making allocations across multiple states or calculating VAT when transferring goods from one entity to another in a foreign country, the Data Editor can be customized accordingly. Incoming transactions are recorded for auditing and reporting and the tax calculations are sent to the organization’s ERP solution. Overall return on investment is enhanced, as ownership and ongoing maintenance burdens are removed from IT, allowing the tax department to maintain seamless control. ADP delivers the Data Editor hosting via in-house mirrored Tier IV data centers, which provide clients greater security and performance.
