The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) has partnered with professional services marketing firm, Ingenuity Marketing Group, LLC, Saint Paul, to represent the 9,400-member organization in a strategic media and advertising campaign. The statewide campaign will highlight the benefits and opportunities of working with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Ingenuity Marketing Group will manage a variety of public relations and advertising initiatives with both traditional and online media to communicate the year-round, knowledgeable and service-oriented aspects of CPA firms to consumers. The firm was chosen following a two-phase selection process among several Twin Cities firms.
“At a time when life has gotten complicated for many Minnesotans, the value of using a CPA for tax preparation has never been more important,” said Betsy Adrian, president of the MNCPA. “Through our partnership with Ingenuity, we hope to spread the word about the value of a trusted advisor who is there after the tax season ends.”
“We are very honored to represent the MNCPA in its goals to highlight the credentials and credibility of CPAs in Minnesota,” said Wendy Nemitz, Ingenuity Marketing founding principal. “Given that my first marketing position was with a local accounting firm in the late ‘80s, it’s an exciting opportunity.”
Ingenuity Marketing Group (ingenuitymarketing.com) markets the people of professional services nationwide with clients in accounting, law, financial services, engineering, real estate and others. The firm was founded in 1992, offering branding strategy, training and coaching and a variety of marketing tactics that support competitive, growing firms.
The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) serves the public interest by advancing the highest standards of ethics and practice within the CPA profession. MNCPA (mncpa.org) delivers on that promise by offering extensive continuing professional education and resources; advocating for members and the public with regulatory agencies and boards; and mentoring and encouraging the CPAs and business leaders of tomorrow.
