[Singapore, October 2010] The world’s oldest bottled single malt whisky, Mortlach 70 Year Old / 1938 - which is also the first ever 70-year-old Single Malt Scotch whisky bottled for retail sale, is making its way to Singapore this November.
Released under Gordon & MacPhail’s ‘Generations’ brand and bottled at cask strength - 46.1% Alcohol By Volume (ABV), there are only fifty-four (54) 70cl bottles and hundred and sixty-two (162) 20cl bottles in the world, but only one (1) of each will be brought to Southeast Asia.
Proudly presented in Singapore by La Maison du Whisky, Mortlach 70 Year Old is undeniably one of the most sought-after whiskies by collectors and enthusiasts around the globe.

Mortlach 70 Year Old Tasting
To share this exceptionally rare whisky, La Maison du Whisky will be holding a Mortlach 70 Year Old Tasting with the 20cl bottle for eight (8) privileged whisky aficionados. The tasting will also include Mortlach 30 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail, and Mortlach 50 yo / 1942 "Book of Kells" Crystal Decanter Gordon & MacPhail.
Michael Urquhart, fourth generation proprietor of Gordon and MacPhail will be hosting the tasting to share his passion and knowledge in single malt whiskies.
