Adlib Software, the leader in document conversion, recognition and publishing solutions for enterprises, today announced that it has released a new version of Adlib Express version 4.10 that supports enhanced PDF/A capabilities and includes numerous performance and functionality improvements.
Adlib Express is the market leading document transformation solution that enables organizations to maximize the efficiency of business processes and document workflows. By standardizing file formats and automating work processes so that documented information becomes more readily available, Adlib Express increases productivity and reduces errors resulting in enterprises realizing significant cost savings.
Key Enhancements to Adlib Express V4.10:
• Enhanced PDF/A validation accuracy and output quality – PDF/A validation accuracy has been improved with Adlib Express V4.10 as it scored a 99% overall accuracy by validating 202 out of 204 test cases included in the Isartor Test Suite developed by the PDF/A Competency Center. • Upgraded OCR engine and reduced file sizes – Adlib optimization and compression for OCR reduces file sizes, resulting in reduced cost of storage for images while ensuring the quality once converted to PDF.
• CAD module enhancements including AutoCAD® 2010 support – When converting documents that include colour to PDFs that are monochrome ,the quality and fidelity are maintained by improving the legibility of both print and on-screen drawings.
• Support for Microsoft® Windows® 2008 Server and 2008 R2 – Adlib Express is supported on the latest version of Windows operating system along with support for past versions.
