BackupAgent, the leading provider of online backup software for service providers and hosters, is one the winners of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Benelux, the list of the fifty fastest growing technology companies. The company realized a 5-year growth of 1.650 per cent and takes the 8th position on the list. The announcement was made during an awards ceremony that took place at the Evoluon in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, on Thursday, October 7.
The Technology Fast 50 is an annual election of the 50 fastest growing technology companies organized by accountants firm Deloitte. The selection is based on the percentage revenue growth over the past five years (2005 to 2009). The minimum growth for adoption in the list of fast growers is 400 per cent. A significant amount of the revenue should come from own technology and a substantial investment in R&D is required.
