Mirasys Ltd, a leading provider of open platform digital CCTV and video surveillance solutions, has today announced that continued focus on global expansion will be supported by new offices in the DACH and Baltic regions, covering Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Offering video monitoring systems which support close to 600 camera models, Mirasys will actively seek partnerships with distributors and integrators in each market to make the most of rich local business opportunities.
Mirasys’ expansion has been spurred by an exponential rise in market demand for Video Management Software supporting IP-based CCTV systems which is expected to grow by 200 percent between 2010 and 2012[1]. Mirasys’ DACH and Baltic offices follow the company’s move into Italy and Thailand in March 2010 and will target both IP and analogue opportunities while also offering hybrid systems, which allow the use of analogue and IP-based cameras in one system simultaneously.
The DACH office will be headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, where Klaus Seibold, former Senior Director Commercial Relationship at RIM (BlackBerry) has been appointed as Country Manager. With 20 years of experience in various regional and European-wide sales and marketing roles, Seibold will work with corporate customers, channel partners and system integrators as well as OEMs. Raul Grigorjev will oversee operations across the Baltic region and will be based in Tallinn, Estonia as Country Manager. With over 10 years of experience in the security industry, Grigorjev will focus on key vertical markets in the region which include banking, manufacturing and public sector enterprises.

The move into the DACH market is however a completely new venture and both new offices will allow us to pursue new opportunities within each European region.”
Earlier this year Mirasys launched Mirasys Spotter, the iPhone and iPad application that works securely and seamlessly with Mirasys NVR software. Furthermore, Mirasys Carbon VMS was also introduced to market, offering the ideal solution for high-input surveillance systems such as those used in the protection of critical infrastructure, law enforcement, city surveillance and crisis management, as well as for video surveillance applications in retail chains, large logistics centres, and other global enterprises.
