Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 2010/10/07 - The word on the vine is that Brown Brothers is the place for all things Epicurean, over the weekend of 20-21st November.
New to this year’s line up of culinary adventures, the ‘Epicurean Rolling Lunch’, promises to deliver an inspirational wine and food experience. Taking guests ‘behind the scenes’, of Brown Brothers Milawa vineyard, this progressive 4-course meal will stop at various ‘secret’ stations within the operational winery. Brown Brothers head chef, Danny Neate has teamed up with the wine experts to create a Spring produce-inspired menu matched to new release and award winning wines.
The Epicurean Rolling Lunches will run on Saturday and Sunday (20th & 21st), at 12.00pm, 1.00pm & 2.00pm, and spread over two relaxed hours. The costs is $75 per person and to book call 1800 032 248.
Another first for this year’s festival is the ‘Chef’s Table’. Aspiring ‘Masterchefs’ can pick up some cooking and wine matching hints from Brown Brothers chef’s and wine educators, in a fun, informal setting.
Festival favourite, the Lucky Sip’ competition returns to the line up of ‘must do’ wine participation activities, this November. Participants can test their palates on Brown Brothers varietals and win some great prizes, by identifying wine varieties using, taste, sight and smell.
