As an established provider of development services within the payment processing industry, Lighthouse Software has designed and developed a PCI Merchant Management Program to monitor PCI compliance status among its clients. Assisting ISO’s, Acquirers and Processors, the PCI Merchant Management Program develops a streamline process to address the aspects of PCI including validation services such as vulnerability scanning.
With its newly formed partnership, Lighthouse will be utilizing SecureConnect Vulnerability Scanning services for the company’s PCI program. These scans help protect businesses by proactively identifying weaknesses in the network environment, looking for known vulnerabilities and configuration issues that could potentially be exploited by hackers, worms, or viruses. As an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV), BHI SecureConnect has been certified by the PCI Security Standards Council to perform the scanning process necessary to validate PCI compliance and adhere to PCI DSS requirements.
Howard Falcon, Partner at Lighthouse Software, believes that the collaboration will offer Lighthouse customers a great source for a more secure service. “PCI has affected everyone pretty drastically,” said Falcon. The quarterly vulnerability scans are necessary to highlight security concerns and effectively minimize the risk of a security breach among merchants.
