QuorumLabs also added two more executives to its staff to help manage the rapid growth the company is experiencing in its customer base, as well as its very robust channel sales pipeline.
"We are thrilled to have Larry join our team as CEO as we enjoy an impressive market response to our onQ business continuity solution," said Andrew Swart, chairman of the board of QuorumLabs. "Larry is a proven business leader, who, throughout his career, has exhibited the ability to develop new markets, forge new partnerships, and accelerate growth."
“As I learned about QuorumLabs, I was excited by its accelerating business momentum and powerful products,” said Larry Lang, QuorumLabs’ new CEO. “The high caliber of reseller partners the company is attracting also indicated good momentum. But most impressive were customers telling me how onQ solved their business continuity problems better than any other solution.”
To meet the growing demand from customers and resellers, the following additional executives have joined the executive staff: David Anderson, vice president of business development and Bill Culman, vice president of engineering.
CEO Larry Lang was most recently vice president and general manager of Cisco’s services and mobility business unit, where he grew the mobile Internet business from near-zero to several hundred million dollars. Mr. Lang brings significant leadership experience, as well as a strong combination of marketing, product development, and sales focus, to QuorumLabs. He also serves on the board of Violin Memory and BelAir Networks and held senior management positions at Ipsilon Networks and Bellcore.
David Anderson, vice president of business development, was previously senior vice president of worldwide sales and business development for Ixia. He also served as the founder and CEO of Silicon Valley Networks, and was on the early teams of three multi-billion dollar public companies (Mercury Interactive, Pure-Atria and Valid Logic).
Bill Culman, vice president of engineering, has extensive experience building both software and hardware products. Prior to QuorumLabs, Bill held senior engineering management positions at Axcient, Interwoven, Cast Iron Systems, Vitria Technology, BEA Systems and Tandem Computers.
