ESS GM - Marketing & Sales, Mr. Prakash Gopalani, will be visiting Tunisia and Morocco along with FICCI Business Delegation. The delegation will attend two Buyer Seller Meets (BSM) in Tunis (Tunisia) & Casablanca (Morocco) during 4-8, October, 2010.
India has long maintained bilateral trade relations with Tunisia and Morocco. Bilateral cooperation between India and Tunisia is growing increasingly, particularly in the commercial and scientific fields. Trade between India and Tunisia has more than doubled in the last five years from US$ 183.72 million in 2005-06 to US$ 466.38 million in 2009-10. The two-way trade between India and Morocco has also shown significant growth in recent years. In fact, it has doubled during the last five years from US$ 583.88 million in 2005-06 to US$ 1111.98 million in 2009-10. The kingdom, who has very strong economic cooperation with India in the fields of phosphates, reiterates its call on Indian companies for investing in new economic sectors, from automobile to agriculture machinery and agro-industry, power to tourism and IT services to pharmaceutics.
