On October 1, 2010, Guardian Digital Forensics, a leader in digital forensics, will introduce NetSentry Player, their second product in the NetSentry product line.
Data is reconstructed into the original transmitted content, including emails and attachments, file transfers (ftp), web page contents and downloads, telnet sessions, chat messages, peer-to-peer communications, VoIP, Skype and more. The software builds a database with all content categorized into protocols that can be searched by usernames, IP, email addresses, chat names, and other criteria….even wildcards.
NetSentry Player provides undeniable evidence in many aspects of suspected internet crime. Building a database of the company’s own PCAP data, with unlimited search function, provides the capability to investigate suspicious behaviors committed by those inside and often outside the company. A company’s timely incident response into suspected intellectual property and identity theft, data leaks, illegal and illicit behavior is immediately possible with NetSentry Player. NetSentry Player was designed for ease of use by non-technical administrators. Using the point and click GUI, set-up and administration of the system is quick and easy.
