Dictamus Version 7.0.2 has just been released. For anyone with an iPhone, iTouch or now an iPad, this software application allows you to record digital voice files and send them direct to UK transcription company OutSec without the need to return to the office or access a PC/voice recorder. It uses a WiFi or mobile phone network to transmit the encrypted files to a secure folder on the OutSec server, from where it is typed up into a Word document by a dedicated British legal secretary.
Dictamus is an easily downloadable Application from the AppStore or iTunes. A free trial version with limited functionality is available for assessment purposes and the full version is just £5.99. And once purchased, all future upgrades are free of charge. The software is specially designed to work seamlessly with OutSec and its award-winning FileManager software. Access to more than 100 British online secretaries is nothing more than a click away.
All you need to send the files from your Apple is an OutSec Dictamus login name and password. (Note that if you already have an OutSec account, for security reasons these will be different to the normal login name and password so these must be requested from OutSec directly).
