Post University being named a "Military Friendly School" is a distinction that places the university in the top 15% of all higher education institutions in the United States.

Col. Ed Lizotte, Post University Director of Military Programs and Veterans Affairs. “We have taken the time to learn what active duty, veteran and military dependents need to succeed, and then made sure we could provide it.”
In addition to being a Servicemembers Opportunity College and a proud participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, Post University has reduced its tuition and covered the cost of textbooks so military personnel and their dependents can earn an undergraduate or graduate degree at little or not cost to them.
As a traditional university with an excellent online program, Post University also is uniquely positioned to offer high quality degree programs in a variety of formats. Students may enroll at its main campus in Waterbury, Connecticut, take accelerated degree program courses at one of four locations in the state, or complete their degrees completely online.
“We know one size definitely doesn’t fit all when it comes to military students,” said Lizotte. “That’s why our Military Program was created and is supported by people who also have served in our Nation’s Armed Forces. Whether students enroll at our main campus or in one of our online accelerated degree programs, we are ready, willing and able to provide the support they need.”
