Staying updated on the latest technology is one of the challenges engineers face today. Fairchild Semiconductor (NYSE: FCS) is pleased to begin its seventh season of worldwide technical seminars starting in September. These one-day, comprehensive seminars provide power design engineers design techniques, product technologies and industry trends to develop energy-efficient applications.
The 2010-2011 full-day Power Seminar technical sessions include:
• High Power Factor Flyback with Constant Current Output for LED Lighting Applications;
• Drive and Layout Requirements for Fast Switching MOSFETs;
• Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) in Power Supplies;
• Minimizing Standby Power By Optimizing Passive Components;
• Practical Feedback Loop Design Considerations for Switched Mode Power Supplies;
• Synchronous Rectification for Forward Converters.
Fairchild’s 2010-2011 Power Seminars will begin in North and South America and Asia starting in September. A list of these locations, schedules and descriptions of each technical session, as well as registration information is available at fairchildsemi.com/powerseminar/. Power Seminars are also scheduled to begin in the spring of 2011 across Europe.
“These one day Power Seminars provide power supply design engineers with in-depth information on technology advances and industry trends. Attendees will learn techniques to improve system performance, comply with energy-efficiency regulations and achieve significant overall system-level cost savings for specific analog, discrete and optoelectronic solutions,” said Andrea Mirenda, Fairchild’s vice president of Marketing. “Each seminar is presented by power supply design experts, and developed to address our customers’ specific needs to optimize and innovate their designs for electronic applications.”
