The tool significantly reduces the migration time and enables a smooth transition to NetEDI’s NetIX solution, an on-demand, web-based, multi-user, B2B Integration Server.
The migration framework provides a rapid switchover and ensures that existing processes, message layouts, data, and communications are all integrated seamlessly into the NetIX framework. This collaboration of features ensures that deployment costs are absorbed and helps the user to quickly benefit from the advantages that NetIX brings.
Customers taking advantage of the offer will gain access to NetIX’s advanced functionality of a versatile web-based solution which eliminates the need for company owned hardware. NetIX’s hosted EDI translation allows you to process your Orders, Invoices, Despatch Advices whilst providing total integration with your internal accounting software or ERP system.
Also included is the NeGrid VAN network. Embedded into NetIX, NEGrid provides key features such as real-time transaction visibility, network monitoring services and uniquely allows the user complete control of network operations such as creating new interconnects, reviewing EDI batches and searching for documents by internal Document Numbers (e.g. Invoice/Order Numbers).
“The recent merger between GXS and Inovis combined with the acquisition of Sterling Commerce by IBM is leading to uncertainty in the marketplace and leading many to believe that the current suite of GXS, Inovis and Sterling offerings may soon be sun-setted. This is leading many organisations to re-evaluate their integration strategies”, said NetEDI Business Development Director Marc Nelson.
“By providing the free migration tool, we can deliver our service in the most efficient and cost-effective way available today. The migration process also guarantees data integrity and minimal impact to our clients and their Trading Partners. Migrating from a Freeway Commerce platform has never been easier or as pain free”, added Nelson.
