Wireless baby monitor, model 816Q is a digital mode baby monitor, manufactured by JMC Corporation and marketed by Misky Wireless (UK). A feature-rich product, that integrates video, motion, temperature and sound sensing. Time display and 16 lullabies are also included. The baby monitor is actually composed of two units – an egg-shaped wireless camera that transmits up to a range of 200 meters and an apple-shaped colour monitor (receiver).
The wireless camera includes a microphone for picking up the sound. The monitor or parent unit has a colour 2.5” LCD screen that displays the video in real time. The monitor comes with a built-in battery. When fully charged, the monitor can be used up to four hours without recharging, according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
