GigaBeam, the global leader in deployment of 70/80 GHz radios, announced today that its sales in Central Europe have grown over 100% in the last 6 months as a result of its partnership with Orcave, a distributor that initially engaged with GigaBeam in 2009. Due to this success, GigaBeam has extended its partnership with Orcave to enhance product and service delivery through all of Europe.
The recent sales growth highlights regions such as the Czech Republic as a model country in the creation of a viable wireless infrastructure, and to Orcave as the best positioned partner to service the growing market. The Czech Republic ranks among the 10 fastest countries for broadband and Internet capacities, experiencing 23% year-over-year growth, according to the 2009 “State of the Internet Report,” by Akamai.
