AVEVA Group plc (LSE: AVV), one of the world's leading providers of engineering design and information management solutions to the plant, power and marine industries, announced that Thai-based The Bangkok Dock Company (1957) Limited, and Indian-based SKA Marine Services Pvt Ltd. have concluded contracts for the use of AVEVA Marine solutions within their respective yards.
Established in 1865, The Bangkok Dock Company has a rich maritime history and today is among the country’s leading shipbuilding and ship repair enterprises. The company is considered an important asset for the Royal Thai Navy.
SKA Marine Services is based in Chennai, India, and offers a complete spectrum of services to ship builders and ship owners including basic ship design, equipment sourcing, preparation and approval of class, statutory and production drawings.
