Project Performance International (PPI) announces the launch of iMobile Productivity. iMobile Productivity will consult to Australian SMEs, large technology-oriented companies and government departments that are seeking to improve productivity through integration into the enterprise of Apple mobile products, including the Apple iPad and iPhone.
Apple Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs announced the iPad in January 2010, promoting application to digital versions of books and magazines, music, games, video, web access. Companies are finding that the iPad is widely applicable to business, too. "This iPad thing has taken the world by storm," said Ted Schadler, vice-president and principal analyst at Forrester Research (FORR) and author of “Empowered”, which explores how employees use new technologies. "It came in as a consumer product and very quickly the people who actually bought them were businesspeople".
iMobile Productivity, lead by long-time Apple mobile expert Michael Fletcher, will provide expert consultancy in iPad-related business analysis, including requirements definition, feasibility analysis, value proposition, project management, business integration, system integration, and system verification. iMobile Productivity will also populate the iPad with client content where required.
iMobile Productivity has been formed as Business Unit, thereby maximising access to PPI’s company-wide base of experience and resources.
