After a long and extensive market research, GreenBottle will be introducing a new line of stainless steel bottles. Following a market research, Green Bottle has taken the best features desired by people for a water bottle to fashion the ultimate stainless steel bottle. Yip Bop, creator of Green Bottle, confirmed, "We took our marketing results from our research and website and have come out with the best design for the Stainless Steel Bottle".
Within the coming months, Green Bottle plans to introduce three designs to the market. Says Yip, "We have designed the bottles specifically for sports, children and for multi-use and they will come in a variety of colors". How did the Green Bottle start and why stainless steel water bottles?
After Yip watched Annie Leonard's documentary "The Story of Bottled Water" from the Story of Stuff website, he was shocked by the amount of pollution we are causing from buying bottled water and said that there are many people in the world who have no idea where their plastic bottles end up after they finish their beverage. The public is also unaware of the chemicals used for making plastic water bottles such as Bisphenol A (BPA) which can leach into the water over time or if exposed to heat. Yip and his team took a stand and started Green Bottle to promote the use of filtered tap water in stainless steel bottles.
A recent study done by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the FDA has confirmed that there is validity to this fear of human exposure to BPA from plastic food and beverage products. More tests are in progress; however in the meantime, the FDA has recommended that appropriate measures be taken to reduce the amount of Bisphenol A (BPA) exposure to humans.
Stainless steel bottles are an excellent alternative to plastic bottles and baby bottles containing BPA. Not only will consumers save the environment, but they will also save on the cost of bottled water which can be over thousands of dollars per year for a family.
