Mobile phone comparison website mobilesmadeclear.com announced today that it was now comparing over 1,000,000 offers on the site.
Philip Price, CEO explained why the million mark is so important: “As with any comparison website, the more items you compare, the more you provide value to a consumer. While researching other mobile comparison websites we found most did not include all the offers available, in fact total offers compared ranged from only 200,000 up to nearly 800,000 which is some way short of the total offers out there. This does not give a consumer an altogether fair comparison, because the best value deals may well be missed out. This analysis gave us the simple goal of ‘Comparing Them All’ so consumers would feel confident that they are not missing out when using our site. Passing the 1 million mark has pushed us towards that goal and we believe has made us the most comprehensive comparison site on the web.”
To collate over 1,000,000 offers, mobilesmadeclear.com checks the offers available from 19 online retailers including offers available directly from the 5 main mobile networks. For each offer available the site calculates the actual cost per minute that deal provides based on the free gifts, handset values and inclusive allowances.
Mobilesmadeclear.com is a mobile phone comparison website providing a comparison of mobile phone contracts, PAYG and SIM deals available in the UK from multiple online retailers. With an official launch planned towards the end of 2010, the BETA version of the site is now available in the public domain.
Work started on mobilesmadeclear.com at the beginning of 2010 by a small team based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The team is led by Philip Price who was also one of the founders of CharityDays ISP back in 2001, which was subsequently sold to PlusNet who are now owned by BT.
