CRANE ChemPharma Flow Solutions™ – Xomox® completes its 800 ISO series of High Performance Butterfly Valves by adding a PN 25/40 version to its existing PN 10/16 valve, allowing applications with higher pressure demands to now be served. Maintaining many of the features of the PN 10/16, this reintroduced high performance butterfly valve also features a double-dead-end service option, allowing for safe dismount while under pressure in both directions.
“In order to continually serve the industries in which we operate, we seek to consistently provide updates to our trusted products that benefit our customers in an ever-growing number of applications,” says Markus Evers, Business Line Manager HPBV, of CRANE ChemPharma Flow Solutions, Xomox Brand. “By re-introducing the 800 ISO High Performance Butterfly Valve in a PN 25/40 offering, we are expanding its use to applications like formaldehyde and hydrocarbon crackers, for example, that benefit from a higher pressure class.”
Other applications that require a valve with a higher pressure class include hydrogen applications (300°C and 20 bar), various refinery applications, LDPE applications, air drying, air breakdown and all applications over 150°C under pressure. In addition, the PN 25/40 valve holds all of the key benefits of the PN 10/16, including ease of installation, a longer valve neck, improved flow and energy savings, as well as safety features and leak protection.
