Stefanini IT Solutions, a global provider of onshore and nearshore IT consulting, integration and development, and outsourcing services, today announced that Marco Stefanini, the company’s founder, chief executive officer, and president, was named as one of the most influential professionals in nearshore outsourcing by Nearshore Americas. Marco Stefanini was ranked number three in Nearshore Americas’ Power 50 report, a listing of nearshore outsourcing professionals that have influenced the growth of the industry. He was the highest-ranked professional among all of the Brazil-based companies.

Nearshore Americas pointed to Marco Stefanini’s pioneering spirit as a primary factor in his selection. He founded Stefanini IT Solutions 23 years ago and has grown the company into one of the largest technology providers in Brazil. He was also recognized for founding the Stefanini Institute, which provides technology training for disadvantaged youth in Brazil.
Antonio Moreira, Stefanini’s CEO for North American operations, was also named to Nearshore Americas’ Power 50 Report. Moreira was honored for his work in expanding Stefanini’s operations in the U.S. Stefanini was incorporated in the United States in 2001 and currently has offices in Fort Lauderdale, New York City, Atlanta, Chicago and Montreal. Stefanini was the only Latin American-based company with two executives on the list.
Moreira, Marco Stefanini and the other honorees were selected based on four main criteria:
- Personal impact on the growth and visibility of outsourcing in the Americas;
- Record of achievement within the candidate’s own organizations;
- Dedication to raising professional standards and performance quality;
