Councilmember José Huizar will continue his Forum Series and moderate an Election Reform Forum on June 10th, from 8 am to 10 am in Los Angeles City Council Chambers featuring some of the region's top experts. The focus of the forum will be on Vote By Mail (VBM), Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) and Changing Election Dates (CED).

The forum panel will include Kathay Feng of Common Cause, Antonio Gonzalez of Southwest Voter Registration & Education Project and the Willie C. Velasquez Institute, David Holtzman of the League of Women Voters, Ron Kaye of RonKayeLA.com and the Saving LA Project, Darry Sragow of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP, and Holly Wolcott of the Office of the City Clerk, City of Los Angeles.
There are two election reform proposals on the California June primary ballot. Hear how the proposals may affect the local area and what is being discussed for the City of Los Angeles. Get an update on what has happened since Councilmember Huizar's last forum.
This is a follow-up to the successful March forum on Campaign Finance Reform and will be held just days after the California June Primary Election.
