The high standards of eight National Security Inspectorate (NSI) approved companies gained recognition at the recent Metropolitan Police Alarm Performance Awards ceremony, held at New Scotland Yard. NSI approved companies won eight of the nine awards presented, including all of the gold and silver awards.
The achievement of these companies has helped towards a 25 per cent reduction in false alarms in the Metropolitan Police area during the past year and amount to just one fifth of the level they represented ten years ago.
The awards, which recognise companies that have experienced the lowest false alarm rates in the past 12 months, are presented to firms in three categories: small, medium and large. Each category has three awards: gold, silver and bronze.
Large Companies Category:
· Gold: Banham (NSI NACOSS Gold approved)
· Silver: Secom (NSI NACOSS Gold approved)
· Bronze: Chubb (NSI NACOSS Gold approved)
Medium Companies Category:
· Gold: Capstan (NSI NACOSS Gold approved)
· Silver: London East (NSI NACOSS Gold approved)
· Bronze: Tara (NSI NACOSS Gold approved)
Small Companies Category:
· Gold: Rampart (NSI NACOSS Gold approved)
· Silver: Home Counties (NSI Systems Silver approved)
Julian Stanton, NSI Marketing Manager comments: “Once again NSI approved companies have excelled in the Alarm Performance Awards. The awards provide important recognition of the high standards and professionalism that our approved installers deliver to customers on a daily basis, as well as their hard work in further reducing false alarms and ultimately police time.”
