The audience is introduced to TRAVIS and AVI, two of the four male band members, and LOLA (Avi's then girlfriend now married to Travis) ten years later. We are taken on a journey that tells the story of how the young celebrity deals with friendship, fame, betrayal, love and loss in this sexy mind twisting event that occurs in the span of one night.
When asked about the original idea, Tory Scroggins exclaimed "The piece is a semi auto-biographical one, with each character written with the actor in mind. I had a good feeling Berda Gilmore (who plays Lola) was going to do it. But when it came to Dylan Ramsey, I was unsure. When I sent him the script, I thought for sure he would pass. I had four other actors waiting on stand-by. When he said yes -- it made my day!"
Dylan Ramsey immediately commented "When I got the piece I didn't know what to expect. I knew Tory just finished producing a hit show in Los Angeles called Armstrong's Kid. When I read the script I thought 'Wow, this Avi guy is so like me.. and this is such a damn great play.' I wouldn't have ever guessed that this was Tory's first play. I called him immediately and said 'YES YES YES!' and when he told me that AVI was based on me and that he thought for sure I wouldn't take it. I was humbled, flattered and touched. Beautiful things happen in life and we should embrace them. I owe Tory a great deal just for the thought.. and now I owe him more for the production (laughs)."
