AccelOps, the integrated data center and cloud service monitoring leader, today announced that Deere-Hitachi Construction Machinery Corporation has selected its SaaS-based, all-in-one data center management solution. The fully integrated platform will provide Deere-Hitachi's IT organization with centralized, cross-correlated infrastructure monitoring that extends to VMware virtualization management and security information event management (SIEM).

Deere-Hitachi, a joint venture between Deere & Company and Hitachi Construction Machinery Corporation, designs and manufactures world-class products for the construction and forestry industry leveraging best-in-class excavator technology. The IT organization supports engineering, manufacturing and product support departments across three sites in the U.S. and Canada.
Until now, the Deere-Hitachi team has relied on a variety of different IT tools to monitor their infrastructure, which did not provide a complete view of operations and was not effective in preempting issues. Infrastructure growth, extensive use of virtualization (over 70 percent of systems) and hot site support added to management complexity.
