Applied Media Technologies Corporation (AMTC), the nation?s leader in on-hold messaging and developer of HoldDirect.com, the world?s first Web-based delivery system for on-hold messaging, announced a dramatic re-imagining of its customer portal today.
The new portal will replace both of AMTC's prior customer portals, HoldDirect.com and AMTCMessaging.com, and serve three generations of AMTC's proprietary digital players, including the iQueue II, iQueue III, iQueue 3.5, RemoteLink IP, Eos Eclipse, and Eos Horizon. Customers with accounts on either of these sites have already had their accounts transferred to the new site. HoldDirect.com will remain operational in a legacy capacity until June 1, 2010. AMTCMessaging.com has been folded into the new site.
The new site features a far simpler user interface consisting of easy-to-use icons and configurable options, and provides several new options for obtaining technical support. Customers can configure their music and messaging services, update billing information, and request new messaging production instantly using the portal. The site also adds the capability for Eos customers to create custom channels for themselves at no additional cost.
"The customer portal at my.amtc.com is an evolutionary change for our customers. Bringing all of this information into one location, where both customers and AMTC staff can work with it together, will greatly enhance the customer experience and streamline the way AMTC offers customer service. We're especially excited to retire HoldDirect.com after seven years of industry-leading service, and give our iQueue-generation customers a taste of the power and flexibility that AMTCMessaging.com users have had," enthused Matt Holden, AMTC's Senior Director of Technology.
Existing AMTC customers with any questions regarding the change are invited to contact technical support at (800) 741-2682, extension 8. Technical support is available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday.
