The event was held in Washington, D.C. May 3-4, 2010, and brought together leaders from national Hispanic organizations to exchange ideas and discuss business challenges in unprecedented economic times.
The Hispanic Executive Leadership panel discussions focused on strategies for leading through the current economic climate, the evolving role of government, responding to changing demographics, as well as health care disparity and its impact on business and the world community.
GE Chairman and CEO Jeff Immelt joined distinguished speakers and panelists such as:
• Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico;
• Claudio X. Gonzalez, chairman of the board, Kimberly-Clark de Mexico;
• Cecilia Munoz, director intergovernmental affairs, The White House;
• Rosario Dawson, actress and activist;
• Iñaki Urdangarín, chairman, Telefónica Internacional USA Inc.;
• Milka Duno, female sports car racer and education advocate.
