TC TrustCenter, a leading provider of solutions for authentication, verification and encryption, has today announced that its premium product line of secure socket layer (SSL) certificates, TC Trust SSL, is now ready for distribution into the English speaking European markets. The new product line addresses common pain points associated with SSL implementations, reducing the complexity of installing and updating SSL certificates and minimising the time commitment required by the customer. Additionally, round-the-clock access to dedicated TC Trustcenter customer service adds extra value to businesses adopting the new premium SSL solutions.
The TC Trust SSL certificate product line is a specifically designed cost-efficient solution which improves flexibility and offers organisation vetting, meeting the standard security requirements of internal and external servers. Whereas the everyday management of SSL certification has traditionally been a complex task for IT staff, TC Trust SSL now enables businesses to obtain and manage certificates quicker and more efficiently than before and without any additional cost.
The new product line contains three key components; TC Trust SSL, TC Trust SSL Wildcard and TC Extended Trust SSL, which are offered as Organisation Validated (OV) certificates or Extended Validation (EV) certificates, providing additional clarification that a site is secure via a green browser bar. Each certificate is issued under a 2048-bit root CA and satisfies the current NIST recommendations. TC TrustCenter has also announced the TC ID Store management tool, which is an administration interface offering increased visibility, accelerated registration and improved reporting capabilities.
"Customers often find the process of buying and implementing SSL certificates very laborious and expensive. In order to address this, TC TrustCenter understands the needs of its customers and works closely with them on all aspects of the implementation process. This ensures that the installation and administration of the certificates runs as smoothly as possible throughout the product lifecycle,“ said Dr. Artur Heil, Director Sales EMEA at TC TrustCenter. "By providing customised and flexible solutions, we can specifically tailor our services to address the individual needs of our customers.”
Through consistent use of premium SSL certificates alongside the Secure Site Seal businesses can provide their customers with an additional, recognisable symbol of the company's commitment to ensuring transactional security. This allows customers to be confident that the site is adequately secure which can lead to improved on-line transactions and communications.
TC TrustCenter will demonstrate the TC Trust SSL solution at PGP booth (J30) at Infosecurity Europe 2010, the No. 1 security industry event in Europe held on 27th – 29th April in Earl’s Court, London.
