Dr. Chris Salvino announced that he will be heading to the U.S. Mexico border to see firsthand the security conditions, and meet with locals on the ground, who deal with illegal immigration every day. Salvino will be joined by Rep. Michele Reagan and several Tea Party leaders on this Friday, April 23rd. This is Salvino’s second trip to the border.
“With the elevated crime spree on the Mexican side of the border and the flagrant murder of an Arizona rancher, I know America can do more. For far too long the federal government has abdicated it’s responsibilities do defend our border, but it shouldn’t surprise anyone considering people like DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano continue talk a big game but accomplish nothing,” said Dr. Chris Salvino, Republican candidate for Congress.

Dr. Chris Salvino (drchrisforcongress.com) completed his under graduate work at Notre Dame. He is seeking the Republican nomination for Congress from Arizona’s Fifth Congressional District. He is currently a trauma surgeon working at Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix and is a retired Lt. Colonel and F-16 flight surgeon. He is married. He and his wife, Sue, have two young children. Chris is also a commercial pilot.
