Scheduled to start in September, the new workshops are themed:
• How to Devise and Run a Blended Learning Programme
• How to Evaluate a Learning Programme
• How to Create an Effective Learning Programme
Speaking about the launch, Brian Merison General Manager of the BLA said, "The BLA has a key role in promoting best practice and professionalism across the sectors of learning & development. This new range of workshops is for learning professionals who need to ensure a systematic approach to design, delivery and implementation."
He went on to say, "The workshops aim to prompt the development of new skills in key areas of learning design and evaluation, refresh or update existing knowledge, reflect current best practice, and provide practical tools to help the continuing development of learning programmes."
The workshops reflect best practice in learning and are designed to provide opportunities for learning professionals to engage with current issues and priority topics in a structured and systematic way.
Each workshop is an intensive one day event using a mix of methods.
About the BLA
The BLA is a centre of expertise that produces best practice examples, identifies trends and disseminates information on both innovative and well-established techniques and technologies for learning. The aim is to synthesise existing knowledge, develop original solutions and disseminate this to a wide cross sector membership.
