The second in the series of World Continuity Congress 2010 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand for the first time on 22 June 2010. The Congress jointly organised by WCC Events Pte Ltd, BCM Institute and Metro System Corporation will include a one day conference follow by 2-days of Master Classes, which will be taught in Thai.
While organisations are recovering from the economic crisis, business operations around the world are also disrupted by natural disasters and flu pandemic. It is becoming critical for organisations to heighten their level of preparedness to reduce disruption to operations.
World Continuity Congress Thailand 2010: "Stay Relevant in Times of Crisis" will take on a case study approach where speakers will share their experiences in implementing Business Continuity plan and the recovery action taken during an actual disaster within healthcare, financial and insurance industries. The conference will cover topics including, understanding the relationship between IT and Business Continuity; integrating both BC and Risk Management within the framework of corporate governance. Conference participants can also register for Master Classes which will be conducted on the second and third day for a better understanding of the BC implementation process and responding when disaster strikes.
