Cerritos, CA, United States, 2010/04/07 - International Coatings Company™ introduces its new 3822 Destructo™ White special effects ink for an easy-to pring distressed or vintage look.
International Coatings Company™ is pleased to introduce its new 3822 Destructo™ White special effects ink. After curing, Destructo™ White prints crack and split apart when pulled, stretched, or crumpled, resulting in a vintage or antique look.
3822 Destructo™ White was developed specifically in response to customer demand for an ink that could imitate flaking or weathered paint.
“The distressed or grunge look continues to be a strong fashion trend going forward,” said Steve Kahane, President of International Coatings. “Our Destructo White is a unique product that allows printers to easily achieve that look. We’ve received very positive feedback on its performance and how easy it is to use.”
3822 Destructo™ White is Phthalate-Free, press ready and offers excellent wash-fastness. It can be used on 100% cotton and cotton/poly blend fabrics. 3822 Destructo™ White prints smoothly and is formulated for high-performance printing. Simply cure 3822 Destructo™ White at 350°F (170°C), slightly higher than the cure temperature for conventional plastisol inks; then stretch or crumple the fabric to achieve the cracking effect. Each distressed print will yield unique results and can be customized to taste.
As the distressed, grunge, and vintage "looks" continue to be strong fashion trends, 3822 Destructo™ White makes for a great arsenal for any printshop. In addition, it can also minimize time spent on creating a distressed design, since by simply distressing the print after curing will yield the desired distressed look.
3822 Destructo™ White ink is available through International Coatings’exclusive network of distributor companies.
