He has climbed the 5 highest mountain peaks in the world, without the aid of oxygen and one third of each foot. Now you can share in Michael Groom’s experience on “Success In Action” with Lindy Burns and Bill Nelson. The program will air Monday, April 12, at 2 pm. Pacific Time on the World Talk Radio Variety Channel.
In the April 12th show, Lindy and Bill will be discussing Comfort Zone-How to leave yours behind, a topic that in someway effects each and everyone of us on a daily basis. To help bring a unique perspective to this topic and discussion Lindy and Bill will be joined by Michael Groom.
Michael Groom, is unquestionably one of the world’s greatest 'big' mountain climbers. In 1995 he became the fourth person in the world to climb the four highest mountains without the assistance of bottled oxygen.
In 1999 he successfully climbed Makalu, the smallest and for Michael, the last of the 'big five'. Makalu, Lhotse, Kangchenjunga, K2 and Everest - Michael climbed them all without the assistance of bottled oxygen, and all but Kangchenjunga he climbed without the front third of both feet.
Michael has now changed his sights from mountaineering and to making a special guest appearance on “Success in Action”, this will be an episode not to be missed.
