Alex Field owner of Alex Field Management Artist & Talent Agency is pleased to announce that D:ream have signed to his agency for worldwide management. D:ream had a string of top 5 hits in the early and mid 90's.
D:ream formed in 1990, releasing classic dance tunes. Ur The Best Thing, Unforgiven and the seminal pop tune, Things Can Only Get Better. They also released several massive remixes including EMF's 'They're Here' (featured on the first Renaissance mix CD), Duran Duran's 'Drowning Man' (John Dig weed's Journeys By Dj's CD), Baby June's 'Hey What's Your Name' and Debbie Harry's 'Drowning Man'.
Between 1992 and 1997, the period during which they were active, the band released two studio albums (D:Ream On Volume 1 and World), ten different singles (some of them re-released twice or three times, until totally reaching fourteen singles - but two tracks were featured together on a double A-side single), and an official greatest hits album (The Best of D:Ream). In 2006, a second collection was released, for The Platinum Collection series.The band's first album, D:Ream On Volume 1, which was promoted for almost two years, from its release, in 1993, until a short time before the first single taken from the second album, "Shoot Me with Your Love", was issued in 1995, has produced some seven singles ("Star" and "I Like It" came on a joint release as a double A-side). It was the track called "Things Can Only Get Better" that gave them UK success and international fame.
The band got back together last year after a chance meeting in a London park when taking their children for a walk. It was at this moment that they decided to work together again, They have now finished their new album and the record is due late summer.
D:ream (d-ream.co.uk) will also be doing a series of tour dates across the UK over the summer months, the band are keen to get back out on the road to play to old and new fans.
