*instinctools GmbH, a company specializing in information management solutions and services, is going to participate in “Content Management Strategies/DITA North America 2010” in Santa Clara, California from April 19-21, 2010. This event is being organized by The Center for Information-Development Management (CIDM) and is being held as a meeting ground for information professionals where new trends and techniques in content management and DITA will be explored, and the products from different vendors will be displayed. This event will also feature presentations by some noted professionals in the areas of content management and DITA.
In this event, *instinctools will showcase its structured documentation application DITAworks. DITAworks is a documentation application based completely on DITA which provides integrated functionality for modeling, creation, administration and publishing of complex documentation. This application is built as an Eclipse RCP application. In their demo at the event, *instinctools will be demonstrating how the entire documentation lifecycle can be handled effectively using DITAworks. There will be a special emphasis on showing how the complicated task of DITA specialization can be made easy by using the modeling module of DITAworks, DITA Visual Specialization Manager (DVSM), and how this DITA specialization can then be used in and managed from all the documentation process.
Other than the DITA-based products, *instinctools will also provide information on its consultation and implementation services around DITA. These DITA-based services come in the form of consulting, developing and running a proof-of-concept prototype, DITA model analysis and development and project implementation. *instinctools has been providing individualized software solutions to their clients for a number of years in the areas of Eclipse development, DITA and Single-sourcing.
