Bin Weevils will be promoting the DreamWorks’s new 3D film “How to Train Your Dragon”. The studio that brought you “Shrek”, “Madagascar” and “King Fu Panda”, will be using Bin Weevils virtual world as one of the main online platforms for driving awareness of the movie and for encouraging 7-13-years old kids to interact with the brand online.

More than two weeks before the movie’s premiere on the 26th March Bin Weevils will give kids a chance to get the film’s “look and feel” and also to find out more about the main movie characters.

As of 8th March the kids’ favourite 3D virtual world will be hosting a treasure hunt. There will be whole new Dragon’s Island created in the Bin, representing the Dragon’s Lair. For just over a month kids will be encouraged to find Dragon Eggs around the site. Each egg found will reward kids with Character bios of the main film characters.

“How to Train Your Dragon” is an amazing movie based on the book by Cressida Cowell. Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, the action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking boy who doesn’t exactly fit in with his tribe’s longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges he and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.
