Marriott Execustay was the 2010 recipient of the Corporate Housing Professionals Association Tower of Excellence Award for Large Provider Company Member of the Year, which was handed out at the annual CHPA Conference on February 18, 2010.
Other companies recognized for their commitment to the corporate housing industry and nominated for Large Provider Company Member were Oakwood Worldwide, Bridgestreet, and Preferred Corporate Housing. Samantha Elliott, CRP, CCHP and President of Preferred Corporate Housing remarked, “It was such a great honor to be recognized along side these corporate housing providers, especially since our business model is so drastically different from theirs. Being nominated for Large Provider Company Member of the Year just reaffirms that our commitment to providing the most housing options, the highest quality of services, and the best customer service has been recognized amongst our peers.”
To be considered for the Tower of Excellence Award, corporate housing companies must demonstrate a passion and commitment to the advancement of the corporate housing industry including contributing locally, nationally, and internationally to the creation and enhancement of unique solutions and programs. Companies must also demonstrate significant growth through sales and other initiatives, and must show that they have consistently exceeded customer expectations in regards to the temporary housing services they offer.
Along with the other nominated companies, Preferred Corporate Housing has been and continues to be committed to the advancement of the corporate housing industry. “It is important for travelers to know that they have nationwide options when it comes to temporary stays of 30 days or longer. We want to ensure that our fully furnished apartments are available to anyone who may be relocating, on temporary assignment, doing government or military work, and those who may be displaced for any reason, and we want people to know that our spacious apartments are a cost-saving alternative to cramped hotel stays,” said Jon Lanclos, CRP, CCHP and Founder of Preferred Corporate Housing. “Being recognized along side these fine companies is a testament to the hard work we have put in to ensure that Preferred Corporate Housing is a proven industry leader,” said Lanclos.
