Infinity Stamps, Inc. (ISI), creator of the Designer Alphabet, Number & Symbol Stamp Sets™, announced Monday, February 2nd, that the first of anticipated new font varieties, Amer. Typewriter, will officially go on sale March 1st, 2010. The company will begin taking pre-orders starting February 15th.
October 26th, Infinity Stamps R&D Department revealed a prototype of a new set of Designer Alphabet Stamps made with a new font style, American Typewriter. They maintain that the font has been enhanced to produce clear, legible marks on metal and jewelry.
The Designer Alphabet Stamp Sets from Infinity Stamps are a collection of individual Jewelry Hand Stamps that allows the user to spell out and stamp words or numbers and symbols into soft metals. Until now, they have exclusively featured uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols in a script style font, which they call “ISI Script”. These stamps as well as the new American Typewriter stamps, feature a character size of 3/32” (2.5mm) high and are produced in-house, in advance and kept in stock. This allows the cost of the Designer Stamp Sets to be sold at a dramatically reduced price in comparison to a custom made stamp set.
“Our Designer Sets are one of our most popular products and we have been selling them as fast as we make them,” declares ISI President Billie Eglick, “We have been getting requests for other font styles ever since their release. Typewriter style has been in such demand we anticipate these to sell out in no time.”
Infinity Stamps R&D has said the new Designer American Typewriter Alphabet Stamp Sets has a character size around 3/32” and will be available in 3 parts: A 26 piece uppercase alphabet set, a 26 piece lowercase alphabet set and a 14 piece numbers & symbols set that includes ten single digit stamps from 0 through 9 plus four symbols. Both alphabet sets are expected to retail at the same price as the ISI Script style stamp sets; $210.00 USD. The Number & Symbol stamp set will retail at $106.00 USD and, when purchased along with one of its matching Alphabet Stamp Sets, at a discounted price of $98.00 USD.
Other font sets are currently in development. However, the ISI R&D team would not speculate as to what the font choices would be at this time. Further expansion of the Designer Alphabet Stamp Set line is expected to occur during 3Q, 2010.
