She first introduced the notion of finding love in 30 days in her ever-popular books, now dating and relationship expert Shay Williams-Garrett will launch DIVA University on Feb. 25, 2010, for 20 women who need more personal coaching.
In DIVA University 101, Shay will help students to heal whatever has been standing in the way from attracting true love. After graduating from the preparation course, in DIVA University 102, students learn how to catch their soul mate and perfect partner. DIVA University 103 is for those who have found their soul mate and would like to keep the fire alive and the relationship healthy. On the third Wednesday of every month, Shay will host the DIVA Monthly Love Turbo Booster, which will feature a guest or book that addresses a specific motivational topic. All the courses are delivered via the telephone and Internet. They are being offered at a discount until Feb. 17.
The textbooks are titled “Mommy D.I.V.A. Don’t Get Played: Single Mom’s Dating Guide to Catching the Man of Her Dreams in 30 Days” and “D.I.V.A. Don’t Get Played: A Single Woman’s Dating Guide to Catching the Man of Her Dreams in 30 Days.” In them, Shay shows women how to identify, catch and keep a “good” man. Shay says, “I look at finding love like going fishing. You can catch a fish in 15 minutes if you use the right bait, remain still and know when to reel it in after you realize you have a good catch. But it will take a little more time before you can eat and really enjoy that fish. A relationship is the same way.”
Rejecting terms such as “matchmaker” or “counselor,” Shay says she simply teaches women how to fish so they can continue their success long after she has instructed them. Thus, her goal for DIVA University graduates is for them to be so wise that they can help themselves and other women avoid the pitfalls of dating. “Every man wants to marry a DIVA,” says Shay, “so I’m here to show my students how to become that woman who is irresistible to men.”
DIVA Monthly Love Turbo Booster begins Feb 17th at 8 pm. while DIVA 101, 102 and 103 begin on Feb. 25, at 7 pm. Students can get course info, pricing and register on the Love in 30 Days website. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Shay will also host a free seminar on Feb. 11, 2010, at the Atlanta-Fulton County Central Library Auditorium in downtown Atlanta, Ga., at 6 pm. She’ll discuss how to properly prepare for, attract, and maintain a lasting love, as well as answer questions during the “Love for Life” seminar.
