Carol Theroux is one of America's most admired painters of the Native American Indian, and is widely known for the sensitivity and authenticity of her work. Ms. Theroux's work also includes figurative portrayals of late 1800's men, women and children.
Carol Theroux has received numerous awards for her art during her distinguished career, and her work can be found in not only in her paintings, but also in collectible plates, Native American porcelain dolls, and in Leanin’ Tree’s special collection of Native American greeting cards. Ms. Theroux is a charter member of the Pastel Society of America and The Pastel Society of the West Coast.
Carol Theroux has been working primarily in pastels for many years, but she is also very adept with oils, watercolors, acrylics, and ink and pencil. Her pastel paintings are on display in the Collectible Cache Online Gallery, along with one rare and beautiful original pencil drawing. Carol Theroux's original paintings and limited edition prints are now being shown in the Online Gallery.
"Collectible Cache's vision for its Online Gallery is to provide an unparalleled venue for the display and purchase of fine art," according to its founder, Joyce Davis. Ms Davis goes on to tell us, "We are delighted to welcome Carol Theroux as the premiere artist in the Collectible Cache Online Gallery. She is among the most outstanding pastel artists of our time, and we are very proud that she agreed to join us."
