In his role, Bull will serve under TCAR President Bret Muller, associate partner of Capital Associates, and will continue to lead the Technology committee, as well as the Commercial Information Exchange committee. He will also join the Executive Committee to assist Muller, George York (York Properties), Claire Corsmeier (Grubb Management Inc.), and Kim Brennan (TCAR) in executing the association’s plan.
"We are very excited to have Shane serving as President-Elect next year,” says Muller. “Shane's energy, experience, and expertise in commercial real estate will contribute greatly to our association.”
TCAR is one of 1,800 local boards and associations of REALTORS® nationwide that comprise the National Association of REALTORS® and is the second largest commercial overlay board in North Carolina with 600 members. The association was established in 1995 and serves a 14-county area for real estate practitioners, appraisers, property managers, and other professionals allied with the real estate industry.
This year, Bull helped form the CIE committee, which consists of key people at area brokerages. Their feedback will ultimately be implemented to improve TCAR member benefits. Bull says that he is looking forward to serving with Muller and to increasing the value and benefits of being a member of TCAR.
“Bret's leadership, accounting expertise and eye for the bottom line will continue to help our TCAR association position itself well into the future,” says Bull. “I remain inspired by the enthusiasm and energy of my fellow TCAR members and look forward to another exciting and productive term.”
