Houston, TX, United States, 2009/12/03 - Two Texas hospitals select DigiNet Pro, a web-based application for fully functional remote reading and reporting of their cardiovascular studies.

Matagorda County Hospital in Bay City, Texas, upgraded their existing DigiView cardiovascular image system (CVIS) to DigiNet Pro, a web-based application with DigiView’s full image management and reporting capabilities. Users can access patient images, perform analysis and create reports when it’s most convenient for them – at the hospital, at home, or anywhere with Internet access. The facility also purchased a real-time Gateway Monitor that will record all network transmission events and minimize the possibility of data loss due to gateway, network or imaging modality failures.
A facility in Mineral Well, Texas, Palo Pinto General Hospital, also acquired a DigiView Image Management & Reporting System and DigiNet Pro application. In addition to DigiView’s fast, efficient and fully configurable CVIS, a Gateway Monitor and Database Query Tool will also provide a record of network transmissions and a comprehensive query search tool that clinicians can use to find, track and compile important patient information. A DataLink for GE Vivid Q will also eliminate human input errors by automating the transmission of patient data from the ultrasound machine to the Digisonics system.
