VerticalResponse Inc. , a leading provider of leading provider of self-service email marketing, online survey and direct mail solutions for small businesses, today announced the winners of its Checkie Awards Program for third quarter of 2009. The awards were created to publicly recognize the achievements of its customers.
The Checkie Awards honor the most outstanding performances from among VerticalResponse’s 65,000 small business customers in the following categories: Email, Online Surveys and Direct-Mail Postcards. For a complete list of winners go to verticalresponse.com/checkieawards/.

The criteria used to evaluate award winners was broken down by category, and designed to recognize marketing success in both creativity and results:
• Email: Award based on number of campaigns a month, open rate, and click rate;
• Postcards: Award based on creative design, call to action, headline;
• Surveys: Award based on design and responses.
The Checkie Awards were launched in 2009 as a quarterly program to celebrate the achievements of VerticalResponse customers. In December 2009, VerticalResponse will begin accepting submissions for the overall Checkie 2009 Winner, which will spotlight the best performing campaign across the Email, Survey and Postcard categories. This Checkie 2009 award winner will be announced in January 2010 on the VerticalResponse website.
The VerticalResponse Checkie Award Program recognized 66 award winners across the following industries: Advertising Agency, Business Supplies, Construction, Consulting, Education, Entertainment, Finance/Insurance, Health Services, Legal/Law, Life Coach, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, Publishing, Real Estate, Restaurant/Bar, Retail Services, Software/Hardware, Sports/Fitness, Travel, Wholesale/Distributors and Winery/Wine Retailer.
