In July, Triangle Tool Corporation finished their 18,000 sq ft addition, bringing their manufacturing space to 173,000 sq ft. The expansion includes the added capability of a MECOF bridge-style, 5-axis machining center. With table travel of X=374", Y=197", Z=79" Triangle Tool has been able to procure large machining work for the defense and aerospace industries along with a great interest from the wind energy business.

The large machining center is the first slated for the addition and gives Triangle Tool the rare capability of high-speed, 5-axis machining in a bridge configuration. “Triangle Tool had perfected high-speed 5-axis machining through our moldbuilding business.
