In an effort to give back to the community, Elite Moving Labor announced today that they will adopt the Ballast Point Park and shoreline for periodic litter and debris clean up as well as invasive plant removal. The Ballast Point Park is located at 5300 Interbay Blvd, Tampa, Florida.

The adoption initiative is part of a year long campaign to give back to the community and increase the volunteer hours of our friends, family and staff. "Tampa is a beautiful city, and being part of the Mayor's Beautification Program is a great way for us to ensure that it stays beautiful" comments Brandon Scivolette, President of Elite Moving Labor. The adoption of Ballast Point Park will be in effect from November 3rd, 2009 to November 3rd, 2010. During this period, Elite Moving Labor staff and associates will visit the site bi-weekly to ensure the park remains litter free and safe for the countless residents and tourists who visit the park on a daily basis.

In addition to the Ballast Point adoption, Elite Moving Labor (elitemovinglabor.com) is sponsoring a clean up team for the Hillsborough River & Waterways Cleanup on November 21st, 2009. They will provide volunteers to remove litter and debris from the Hillsborough River from 8am-12pm. Additional adoption opportunities from the Mayor's Beautification Program are also being considered by the Elite Moving Labor staff to increase their commitment to a safe and litter free community.
