Celebrated jeweller T. H. Baker has opened Pandora’s box of luxury jewellery at its brand new store in the Merry Hill Shopping Centre.
Opened on Thursday October 22, the store is a joint venture between national watch retailer T. H. Baker and popular jewellery brand Pandora.
The new store in Brierley Hill’s Westfield complex will display a fantastic range of brand name designer watches and accessories, including a selection of bestselling Pandora jewellery.
T. H. Baker has been providing customers with great prices, top class service and the best selection of watches and jewellery since 1888. While the Merry Hill store exclusively brings Pandora jewellery to the Midlands, it also features the best in brand name watches from the likes of Versace, Sekonda, Tissot, TAG Heuer, Oris and other prestigious brands.
Situated on the upper level of the mall at the entrance into the new food court, Merry Hill’s T. H. Baker store will be run by Store Manager Wayne Hale and an assembled staff dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Services will include watch battery replacement service, in store watch water resistance testing and watch repair service.
Phillip Higgs, a Director at T. H. Baker, said: “We have a longstanding reputation for quality and service. Our partnership with Pandora means that T. H. Baker’s Merry Hill shop will bring the best designer watches and fashionable jewellery to shoppers in the run-up to Christmas.”

1. Founded in 1888 by watchmaker and jeweller Thomas Henry Baker, T. H. Baker has enjoyed over 120 years as a celebrated watch and jewellery company. The business was purchased at 95 High Street, Brierley Hill, which is still open today.
Over the years, further branches were opened in the Midlands until the first store outside Central England was opened in Horsham in 2001. Now with its fifth generation of family members continuing the business, T. H. Baker has stores across the UK and further developments planned.
2. Founded in 1982 as a jeweller’s shop by Mr. Per Enevoldsen, Pandora was ‘driven by quality of the highest carat’ during its beginnings in Copenhagen’s Noerrebro district. Production moved to Thailand in 1987, when Lone Frandsen was hired as a designer and the company began to focus on creating a unique jewellery brand.
In 1996, goldsmith and designer Lisbeth Larsen joined the company and, together with Lone, played a key role in defining Pandora’s style. In 1999, its ever-popular charm bracelet launched on the market and established the personal nature of Pandora jewellery.
Pandora has now grown into a global brand sold in 18 counties, having evolved from a two-man business 25 years ago to a team of 35 at its head office in Copenhagen, and 1,000 workers at Pandora Productions, its factory in Thailand.
