ELEKS Software, a software engineering organization which provides IT outsourcing / team extension services along with outsourced product development, QA and localization to the U.S. and EMEA regions, today announced the appointment of Tony Clarey, veteran sales and marketing executive, to serve as a Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Mr. Clarey will direct ELEKS Software’s strategic sales and marketing activities to advance its penetration of the global market. He will be responsible for the Company’s global sales and marketing operations, with the main focus on new customer acquisition as well as the company’s global sales and marketing strategy.

Prior to joining ELEKS Software, Mr. Clarey served as a managing director and board member for a multi-national company in the telecommunications field. His principal business achievements have been negotiating and signing agreements with some of the largest manufacturing and trading companies in the world including Andrew Wireless (a Commscope company), Corning Cable Systems, Dia Semicon (Mitsubishi), Fujitsu, Huawei, Ingram Micro, Merisel, Nokia, Siemens (now Nokia Siemens Networks) and Tech Data. He has also done business in Poland and Ukraine with Polish Telecom (TPSA), Orange, T-Mobile (Era), UMC, Utel (UkrTelecom), Polkomtel, P4 (Play), Astelit (Life), Netia, Dialog, Exatel, among others.
“It seems that I was destined to join this organization,” remarked Mr. Clarey, smiling. “I have known about ELEKS Software for three years already. Here you have an organization with substantial development resources in Western Ukraine whose oldest U.S. customer is in my hometown of Newton, MA. What are the chances of something like that happening if it was not meant to be? I think my background in U.S. and European high technology markets, coupled with the fact that I have lived now for over a decade in Central Europe make me a real fit.” As his main mission, Mr. Clarey will focus on growing of sales and support organization on the ground in the U.S. and Europe which will be on a par with the rest of the corporation.
Tony Clarey has a B.S. in Computer Science from Tufts University outside Boston MA, USA which is where he plans to be based. He has lived in Poland for eleven years and is fluent in Polish and also speaks French.
